terms of service

BOOKINGS: To secure a date, a deposit fee of $200 (or 20% of the total amount for services less than $200) is due at the time of booking. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.  

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations must be made two days prior to your reserved date or you will be responsible for the amount of services agreed upon in your appointment request. Thirty (30) days applies to group, school formal, and wedding bookings.

 

PAYMENT: Payments can be made by cash, bank transfer, payID, or debit/credit card; 1.6 % surcharge applies for in-store card payments and 1.8% surcharge applies for online payments. The final balance is due on the day of the event as one payment – no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract. A 15% surcharge applies on Sundays and public holidays.

DEPOSIT: A non-refundable deposit of $200 (or 20% of the total amount for services less than $200) is required in order to reserve your date and time.

 

DELAYS: A late fee of $50 will be charged for every 30 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if scheduled appointment exceeds allotted time because of client delays.

 

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Service/s will be completed to client’s satisfaction, but is not to exceed allotted time. Ample time is given for each service.

SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the artist needs to complete the service. A 'set-up' table/work area needs to be made available for the artist at said location. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly.

 

PARKING FEES: Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred, the amount will be included with the final bill and due for payment on the day of the event.

MOBILE SERVICE FEE: This covers the cost for travelling to the client's location, time spent travelling to and from the location, as well as the time required for setting up and packing up the makeup and hair station.

 

LIABILITY: All tools and products are sanitised between clients. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the artist prior to the scheduled booking and, if need be, a sample test may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release Lorraine Lorzano (and any of her team members if required) from liability for any skin and body complications due to allergic reactions.

 

USE OF IMAGE: Lorraine Lorzano Artistry may use on its website - and / or in any brochure, flyer or other advertising it deems necessary - any and all photographs, video, audio, and any other digitally or physically stored media that is captured or recorded by Lorraine Lorzano Artistry and any and all of its representatives or agents. Client(s) agree to release any and all claims regarding use of his / her image for such purposes. Client(s) also agrees to release name and contact information of professional photographers and / or videographers used for recording any event for which the makeup artist or hairstylist has been contracted to do makeup/hairstyle. Client(s) agree to release to Lorraine Lorzano Artistry use of said photographer / videographer photographs and recordings.

 

NO SHOW: Clients who failed to attend their scheduled appointment can be block listed.

ARTISTS' RIGHTS: Lorraine and her representatives may end an appointment if a client is unpleasant, disrespectful, or the circumstance does not align with the team's values and aesthetics.

​

BRIDAL HAIR AND MAKEUP TRIALS: Brides must have hair and makeup trials prior to their wedding day.
